Proc Amp Menus
Press the white
[Proc Amp]
top menu button to display the Proc
Amp menu shown in Figure 3-54. This menu allows you to adjust
the processing amplifier for each column of crosspoints.
Proc Amp Menu Functions:
(XPT SELECT)
—Highlights a crosspoint in the display table for
processing amplifier adjustment.
[CLEAR PROC AMP]
, [CLEARALL PROC AMPS]—These two selections
allow you to clear a proc amp for a particular crosspoint or clear
all proc amps to standard settings.
[PROC AMP ENABLE]
—Turns processing amplifiers on or off for all
crosspoint buses.
[MORE PROC>]
displays additional processing amplifier
adjustments.
(LUMA GAIN)
—Adjusts the range of luminance (brightness).
(LUMA OFFSET)
—Adjusts the dc base level of luminance.
(CHROMA SATURATION)
—Adjusts color saturation.
(HUE)
—Appears when you select [MORE PROC]. Adjusts the hue of
the colors.
(U OFFSET)
—Appears when you select [MORE PROC]. Adjusts offset
of U color component. A positive U value adds more blue to the
picture. Negative U adds more yellow to the picture.
(V OFFSET)
—Appears when you select [MORE PROC]. Adjusts offset
of the V color component. A positive V value adds more red to the
picture. Negative V adds more green.
