Disk Util Menu
Press the [UTIL>] button to display the Disk Util menu shown in
Figure 3-46. The Utility menu allows you to perform routine disk
operations such as deleting files and making directories.
Disk Load Menu Functions:
(FILE SELECT)
—Scrolls through the list of disk files and directories.
[LIST DIR]
—Lists the contents of the current directory. A directory
listing occurs automatically when you enter the menu or change
directories. The main purpose of this soft button is to update the
directory after you change disks.
[CHANGE DIR]
—Allows you to move to another directory. To do so,
select the directory using (FILE SELECT) and then push the
[CHANGE DIR]
soft button.
[MARK FILE]
—Marks files for locking, unlocking, or deletion.
[DELETE MARKED]
—Deletes marked files. Pressing this soft button
displays a Delete confirmation dialog with Confirm and Cancel
buttons. If you press [CONFIRM], the marked files will be deleted. If
you press [CANCEL], the deletion will be cancelled.
[LOCK/UNLOCK]
—Locks marked files so they cannot be deleted.
Also unlocks previously locked files.
[MAKE DIR]
—Creates a new file directory on the disk and allows
you to name the file using the keyboard.
