Background Wipe
A wipe (Figure 4-3) uses a moving pattern to transition from one
picture to another. To wipe between Program and Preset bus
sources, do the following:
1.
Select a PST bus
[crosspoint]
.
2.
Select the
[Bkgd]
Transition button. The Preset scene will
appear on the preview monitor (if present).
3.
Select the
[Wipe]
Transition button.
4.
Select a
[pattern]
button in the Pattern section. If you want to
select a menu pattern, press the
[Menu]
button in the Pattern
section and select a pattern from the display menu.
5.
Select the
[Wipe]
button in the pattern section and adjust
pattern modifiers as desired:
Wipe Direction
– Select the desired direction:
[Normal]
,
[Reverse]
, or
[Flip Flop]
.
Edge Width
– Select
[Border]
and adjust
(Width).
Edge Softness
– Select
[Soft]
and adjust
(Softness).
Edge Color
– Select Matte
[Wipe Border]
and adjust
the Matte
(Lum)
,
(Sat)
,
(Hue)
, and
(Opacity)
controls.
Position
– Turn on the
[Pos]
button and move the
joystick to move the pattern, if desired.
To return the pattern to center, press
[Center]
.
Aspect, Rotation, – Select the Pattern
[Menu]
button or the
Modulation,
display
[Wipe]
button to bring up the
Multiplication
wipe menus. Adjust menus as desired.
