Press
Take
to protect or lock the destination(s). The
Protect/Lock
button
will blink, indicating that panel has set the protect or lock.
•
If another panel selects this destination for control, that panel's
Protect/Lock
button will illuminate steady amber or red. If the other
panel attempts to switch this destination, a
P
or
L
indicator will be
displayed, along with the name of the protecting panel.
•
On S25 and S50 panels that lack a
Protect/Lock
button and display,
when the controlled destination is protected the source button will
illuminate amber, and when locked it will be red.
Unprotecting or Unlocking a Destination
The panel that originally imposed a protect or lock on a destination can
clear those states for that destination.
1.
Confirm the desired locked or protected destination(s) are selected.
2.
Press the
Protect/Lock
button once (protected destination) or twice
(locked destination). The
Take
button will illuminate.
3.
Press
Take
. The protect or lock state will be cleared.
Source Swap Mode
If Source Swap mode is ON, the display windows will preset to the previ-
ously-selected source, in cyan, after each Take. This permits flip-flop
switching on the LD16 panel using the
Undo
and
Take
buttons.

Menu
. The display windows will display various modes.
2.
Press the
Panel Config?
soft button. The
Source Swap
menu will be
displayed with its current status (ON or OFF).
3.
Press
Take
to toggle the state ON or OFF.
The panel will exit Menu mode and operate with the new state.
Override
Overrides can be used for a quick or emergency switch to an often-used
source and level combination. For example, the black burst generator could
be defined as the first “override” source for a particular control panel, cor-
responding to the first override soft key position. Override names can be
customized if desired. Each override can be configured to switch any
desired combination of router levels.
Up to 10 pages of overrides (80 total) may be defined using the Jupiter file
server to build a CP Override set and assign the set to the panel. The order
