L32/L64 Control Panels
Menu Selection Method
1.
Clear the panel (
Level
,
Menu
, and
Preset
buttons OFF).
2.
Press the
Menu
button. The window will display configuration modes.
3.
If necessary, use the
Up/Down
arrow buttons to scroll to
Select Destination?
mode.
4.
Press
Take
. Destination names will appear in the Status (L32) or Preset
(L64) window.
5.
Use the
Up/Down
arrow buttons to scroll to the desired destination.
6.
Press
Take
. The Destination window will display the name of the
destination now being controlled.
You will now be able to select a different source for that destination.
Selecting a Source
Note
If a destination has been Protected or Locked by another panel, the Protect/
Lock button will illuminate steady amber (Protect) or red (Lock) and the des-
tination will not be able to be switched. To continue, the destination must be
unprotected or unlocked by the panel that set the protect or lock (the name
of that other panel will be displayed in the menu).
Direct Selection Method
Buttons configured for sources illuminate in green.
1.
Clear the panel (
Level
,
Menu
, and
Preset
buttons OFF)
2.
Press the low green button for the desired source. The source will be
switched to that destination, the button will illuminate in bright green,
and the name for the source will be shown in green in the Status
window.
Direct Selection with Preset
Preset allows you to confirm the identify of the source before it is switched
to the destination.
1.
Press
Preset
so it is illuminated.
2.
Press the low green button for the desired source. The source will NOT
be taken to that destination. Instead, the
Take
button will illuminate
along with the source button just pressed, and the name of the source
will be displayed in blue in the Status (L32) or Preset (L64) window.
Different sources can be selected until the correct one is found.
