Section 5 — L-S Series Panel Operation
Note
Destinations that have been defined in the panel's CP Output set using the
Jupiter Configuration Editor cannot be changed using the panel itself. If such
an attempt is made, the panel will display the following message: “????”
1.
Press
Dest
. The D1- D16 windows will display pages of destinations.
2.
Press the soft button next to the desired button location. Use the
Up/Down
arrow buttons if necessary to scroll through the pages of button
locations.
3.
Select the desired destination by pressing a category (e.g., “VTR”) and
unit number combination. The name of the destination, and the
category/number, will appear in the window.
4.
Press
Take
. The destination will appear in the selected location.
5.
To assign more destinations, repeat
through
.
6.
When finished, press the
Clear
and
Dest
buttons to exit the mode.
The window(s) just programmed will indicate the destination name in
yellow and the current source for that destination in green.
Protecting or Locking a Destination
1.
Confirm that the desired destination(s) are selected. In Single
Destination mode the destination appears in the D15 window. In
Multiple Destination mode soft buttons for the selected destinations are
illuminated on the destination page displays.
Note
Only multiple destinations located on the same page can be protected or
locked simultaneously. To protect or lock multiple destinations on different
pages, access each page individually to select the destinations.
2.
Choose whether to protect or lock the destination(s):
•
To protect, press
Protect/Lock
once. The button will illuminate amber,
indicating a protect operation in progress.
•
To lock, press
Protect/Lock
twice. The button will illuminate red, indi-
cating a lock operation in progress.
The
Take
button will illuminate green.
