LD16 Control Panel

Changing Level Select Mode

The LD16 panel has a

Level

button which can also be used to directly toggle

between the Level Select mode ALL ON and ALL OFF settings. When the

Level

button is ON the All OFF setting is active. When the

Level

button is

OFF, the ALL ON setting is active. During typical operations (mostly all
level Takes) the button should be off.

Level Select mode can also be set via the menu:

1.

Press the

Menu

button. The windows will display various configuration

modes. The

Level Select

window will report its current setting, either

ALL ON

or

ALL OFF.

2.

Press the soft button for

Level Select

. The mode will toggle to the other

state and the panel will exit Menu mode.

Breakaways can be disabled on the CP Level Set table by setting the Break
Flag for each level to `N.'

Deselect Levels Method

1.

Confirm the desired active destination is shown in yellow in the D15
window.

2.

Confirm the

Level

button is turned off.

3.

Press the soft buttons for the levels you do NOT want to switch so the
buttons are turned off. To move beyond the first 14 levels, use the

Up/

Down

arrow buttons.

4.

Select a source, using one of the methods described under

Selecting a

Source (Single Destination Mode) on page 79

. The selected (i.e., preset)

source will appear in cyan.

If the level indicator is blank, the source may not exist on that level
(e.g., audio from a camera).

5.

Press

Take

. The source will switch only on the selected levels to the

controlled destination, while the non-selected levels remain at the
previously selected source. The level windows will indicate the status
of the first 14 levels.

If Sticky Levels is off, after the Take all levels will automatically be rese-
lected (their soft buttons will illuminate). If Sticky Levels is on, only the
levels involved in the last Take will remain selected.

Select Levels Method

This method is the reverse of the above procedure.

1.

Confirm the desired active destination is shown in yellow in the D15
window.
