Specifying Dates and Times
• Ratings scales, on which you can select a value.
It also displays special graphical devices for specifying dates and times. We describe how to
use these below.
Specifying Dates and Times
For dates, SmartClient displays a calendar:
For a point in time, SmartClient displays a list of times at fixed intervals:
Specifying a date
To specify a date:
1 Click the calendar button, to the right of a date box, to display a monthly view.
2 Click one of the arrow buttons on either side of the month name to select an earlier or
later month.
3 Click a day number to select it.
Specifying a time
To specify a time
1 Click the clock button to the right of the time box to display the list of times.
2 Use the scroll bar to move up or down the list.
3 Click a time to select it.
Using a keyboard to adjust a time value
When setting a time value, you can overtype the value in an entry box; or you can adjust
the value by clicking the arrow buttons to the right of the box.
