5.2 Westermo Private MIB
Westermo provides many standard MIBs for users to configure or monitor the switch’s
configuration by SNMP. But, since some commands can’t be found in standard MIB,
Westermo provides Private MIB to meet up the need. Compile the private MIB file by your
SNMP tool. You can then use it. Private MIB can be found in product CD or downloaded from
Westermo Web site.
Private MIB tree is the same as the web tree. This is easier to understand and use. If you are
not familiar with standard MIB, you can directly use private MIB to manage /monitor the
switch, no need to learn or find where the OIDs of the commands are.
