TEST 2 - ROM TEST
This test reads each location in the program chip, calculates a checksum and compares it to a
checksum inserted in the program chip at the factory. Upon completion of the test the unit will
print either "ROM PASSED" or "ROM FAILED".
To perform the ROM test:
At an asterisk (*) prompt:

Enter the X command.
The unit will prompt you: DIAGNOSTIC MODE
SELECT TEST (1-3):

Enter a 2 for the ROM test.
The unit will respond with: ROM TEST
Upon completion of the test the unit will respond with either:
ROM PASSED if the ROM is OK, or
ROM FAILED if the ROM is defective.
The unit will then prompt you: SELECT TEST (1-3):

Enter the next test desired or a CTRL C to exit the diagnostic mode.
