MCE 300 COMMANDS

COMMAND STRUCTURE

Once you are in the command mode, you can enter various one letter commands to load, add,
change, or print data and operate your unit. All commands use capital letters. Certain keystrokes
are used throughout the system to initiate various responses. They are:

CR (Carriage Return) - This is generally used to enter data that has been previously keyed in.

When in the L (Load Configuration) command, this is used to accept the information
presently loaded (as displayed) or invoke no change when a response is requested.

BSP (Backspace) - This is used to allow re-entry of data prior to the entry of a carriage return.

When used in certain commands it can also move you backwards through a file. For
keyboards without a BSP key, the same result can be accomplished by pressing the
CTRL and H keys at the same time.

CTRL C (Control C) - This is used to stop commands in process. It provides a method of stopping

printouts or simply exiting a function. This command can be executed by pressing the
CTRL and C keys at the same time.

Throughout the examples to follow, data entered by the operator will be indicated by an
underscore.
