P - PRINT CARD DATA FILE
This command is used to print contents of the card data file. The printout will be formatted with 50
lines per page with each page numbered. The number of cards per line is determined by the
configuration. Each P command printout will begin with Page 1. If a customer name is loaded into
the configuration, it will be printed at the top of each page.
This command is also used to generate PIN's (personal identification number) for all cards in the
data file when PIN is selected in the configuration.
In cases where an optional printer is present, you will have the option of having the data print on
the optional printer instead of the data terminal.
To print card data:
1. At
the * prompt, type P.
If an optional printer is available, you are prompted:
SEND TO AUX PRINTER (Y/N)?
2. Typing
Y prints the card data file on the optional printer (AUX port).
Typing
N prints the card data file on the data terminal (MAIN port).
The unit responds by printing all of the cards in the card data file.
