1. Use the S and T soft keys to highlight

2. Press the
MODIFY
soft key until the desired breath parameter displays. The most
recent measurement of the selected parameter is displayed as the
Current Value
.
3. Use the S and T soft keys to highlight
% Limit
.
4. Press the
MODIFY
soft key, then use the keypad to enter the percent change
representing a deviation from acceptable limits. Percent values range from 1 to 99.
Remember to enter leading zeros for values less than 10. For example, 5 % is entered
as 05 %.
5. Press the
ENTER
soft key.
6. Use the S and T soft keys to highlight
Use Printer
.
7. Press the
MODIFY
soft key. If
Yes
is selected, a report is printed that list all breath
parameters with a time/date stamp every time an incident occurs.
To run the test:
1. Ensure that the ventilator is on and that steady-state conditions are reached. Monitor
the
Current Value
displayed to ensure that the breath parameter is as expected.
Press the
START
soft key
to begin testing. While the test is in progress, the Trend
Test screen displays the parameter being tested, the current and starting values, and
the % difference between the two values. The allowable % deviation limit, the
number of tests taken, and the number of breaths (incidents) in which the limit has
been exceeded is also displayed.

2. To terminate the test, press the
STOP
soft key. A sample Trend Test report is shown
below.
