Leak-Test
The Leak test is used for measuring the leak rate of a sealed vessel or test lung over a
period of time.
Setting Leak Test Parameters
The Leak test setup screen, shown in Figure 4-11, allows the user to choose the desired
pressure channel on which to run the test.

Also, the displayed pressure units can be changed. If a compliance value is entered for
the system being tested, the volume lost during the test is calculated. Enter the test time to
set the length of time that the Leak test is to run. At the end of that amount of time, the
Leak test automatically stops.
Running the Leak Test
To run the Leak test:
1. Press the
START button to begin the Leak test. The screen changes, as shown in
