Restart

The

System > Restart

page lets you shut down and restart the 2247-N8 gateway and all interfaces, or shut down and restart only the broadband con-

nection.

NOTE:

Restarting the gateway or the broadband connection will interrupt your Internet service!

How to -

restart the 2247-N8 gateway or DSL connection:

Click the

Restart Gateway

button to restart the 2247-N8. The Web management session will end, and the 2247-N8 will disconnect all wireless and

Ethernet network clients, shut down the broadband connection, and turn off the USB port. Then, the 2247-N8 will start up normally, loading the
most recently saved configuration settings.

Click the

Restart Connection

button to restart the 2247-N8 broadband connection without interrupting the operation of the Local Area Ethernet or

wireless networks, or interrupting the operation of the 2247-N8 USB port.
