4. Locate the 2247-N8 network in the list. Select the network by touch-
ing or clicking the network name.
The selected entry expands to show additional functions.
TIP: The default network name is “moto” followed by the last four digits
of the 2247-N8’s serial number.
5. Click the Connect button.
6. Respond to any security prompt from the computer. You may need to
enter a wireless access password or key (WEP-Manual or WPA net-
works) to join the network:
Windows 8 will connect you to the 2247-N8 Wi-Fi network.

1. Click the network icon ( or ) in the notification area of the
desktop (the lower right corner of the screen, near the system clock).
The network connection information window pops up.
