Setting up Step Ic: For Personal Mailbox
Setting up a Password and Recording a Personal Mailbox OGM for the Mailbox
Set up a password and record a personal mailbox OGM for the callers. Five mailboxes are
available. Fax messages will be received into each memory boxes and will not be printed unless
the owner of the memory box prints it intentionally.
1. Press FUNCTION.
2. Press 9.
3. Press 3.
4. Press SET.
5. Press (left arrow) or (right
arrow) to show the target mailbox
number.
Example : 02.
6. Press SET.
7. Enter the 4-digit code you want to
use as your password.
Example: 1768.
8. Press RECORD.
9. Pick up the handset.
10. Record a personal mailbox OGM
no
longer than 20 seconds.
The OGM should tell callers your name
and that the machine can receive either
voice or fax messages. (For a message
example, see page 11-13.)
11. Replace the handset.
The machine automatically will play back
the recorded message.
The machine status will return to Step 4
above. You can continue and enter the
next password and personal mailbox
OGM.
