Troubleshooting

If your wireless Acuity LT System does not work properly, use this table as a guide to help
identify and solve problems

.

Symptom

Possible cause and suggested response

A CHECK
NETWORK
message appears
on the Acuity LT
Central Station
screen.

The Acuity LT System did not get the expected response from one or more APs.
1. Confirm that all data cables are properly connected between the CPU, the switch and the

APs.

2. Confirm that the PoEs are properly connected and are powering the APs.
3. At each AP, confirm that the green LED is on continuously (3rd from left on the AP front

panel).

4. Check the green LEDs above the data cable ports at the switch:

-Data cable to CPU: Left link LED should be on continuously.
-Data cable to APs: Right link LED should be on continuously.
If an LED is not on continuously, check for a faulty data cable or problem with the CPU or APs.

5. Shut down and restart the entire system (see

page 27

).

There is no
display on the
Acuity LT Central
Station screen.

1. Check power to the UPS, CPU, and Acuity LT Central Station display(s); make sure all power

switches are turned on.

2. Check the video cable between the CPU and the display(s).
3. Shut down and restart entire Acuity LT System (see

page 27

and

page 22

).

There is no sound
from the Acuity LT
Central Station
display speakers.

1. Check the connections of the external audio cable between the CPU and the Acuity LT

Central Station display:
At the CPU, connect to the headphone jack

.

At the display, connect to the Input 1 audio jack.

2. Make sure that the speaker volume control on the display is turned up.
