Confirm that within one minute, the Acuity LT Central Station display shows a
Waveform Window that corresponds with the patient monitor, similar to the
following:

If the patient monitor does not appear to connect to the Acuity LT System, take the
following steps:
a.
Check the network name (ESSID) listed on the left side of the CPU, near the
manufacturer’s serial number. The network name is similar to “com8.protoco.l”

Check the network name assigned to the patient monitor (see
a patient monitor network name (ESSID)”
on page 53). If the monitor network
name is not the same as the name shown on the CPU label, follow the procedure
in Appendix B to reassign the appropriate network name. Confirm that within one
minute, the Acuity LT display shows a Waveform Window that corresponds with
the patient monitor.

If the patient monitor still does not connect to the Acuity LT System, and the
monitor is a Propaq LTR, check to see if the monitor displays the wireless
connection icon (either
or ).
If it does not, the monitor might be configured so that the wireless connection is
disabled (the radio card is off). If so, the monitor must be reconfigured to enable
it. Refer to the Propaq LTR Directions For Use for more information.
