To apply power to Acuity LT System components
1. Apply power in this order:
a. Printer
• Insert the toner cartridge and add paper.
• Plug into AC power.
Do not plug the printer into a UPS.
• Turn on the printer power.
b. UPS 1
• Plug the UPS 1 power cord into an AC power outlet.
• Press the UPS 1 power buttons to apply power to the switch, PoEs and APs.
c. If your system includes 4-7 APs, repeat the steps in Step b for the additional UPS.
d. UPS 2, CPU and Acuity LT Central Station display(s)
• Plug the UPS 2 power cord into an AC power outlet.
• Press both UPS 2 power buttons to apply power.
If the CPU does not start up, press the front-panel power button.
• Turn on the Acuity LT Central Station display power.
• For a 28-patient system, also turn on the second display.
2. Verify that LEDs are active on the following devices:
• UPSs
• CPU
• Switch
• PoEs
• APs
