Perform a final system operation check

Perform all of the steps in these sections, to make sure that the wireless Acuity LT
System is operating properly.

Final system components check

Received signal strength indication (RSSI) check

This system check may require two to three hours to complete, depending on your facility.

After the final system operation check, APs can be installed, as described in

“Perform final

installation of APs”

on page 41.

If any part of the system is not working, refer to

“Troubleshooting and support”

on

page 45.

Final system components check

For this check, use one of the following patient monitors:

Micropaq monitor

Propaq LTR monitor

Wireless Propaq CS monitor

Make sure that all power is off to Acuity LT System components,
including all patient monitors.
Apply power as follows:
a. Printer: Make sure that the printer is online and has paper.
b. UPS 1 (In equipment room)
c.

Additional UPS (if 4-7 APs)

d. UPS 2 (at nurses station)

CPU should start up when UPS 2 power is applied. If it does
not, press CPU front panel power button.

e. Acuity LT Central Station display(s)

Confirm that activity begins on the display screen(s).

Inspect the APs and confirm that within 2-3 minutes of receiving
power the green Link LED (3rd LED from left on front of the AP) is
