4. Confirm that the Acuity LT Central Station display shows a
window similar to the following, and that a CHECK NETWORK
message is not displayed. Pass

4a. For 28-patient systems only:
a. Confirm that both Acuity LT Central Station displays present
information.
b. Confirm that the map in the lower left corner of the screen
shown in Step 4 is on the left display.
If the map is on the right side display, go the rear of both
displays and switch the display cable connections between
them. Confirm that the map is now on the left display.
c. Confirm that you can use the trackball to move the arrow left
and right between the displays.
d. Confirm that the map shows 28 icons (not 12).

5. a. Apply power to one of the following patient monitors, and set
it in Demo or Inservice mode:
Micropaq monitor:

Press to highlight SERVICE MENU, and then press .
• Press to highlight DEMO MENU, and then press .
• Press to highlight DEMO 1, then press to start
DEMO 1 Mode.
Propaq LTR monitor:
•
Highlight Demo and press .
Wireless Propaq CS monitor:
•
Press SETUP, WAVE SELECT, INSERVICE.
a. Place the patient monitor within 10 feet of an AP, and then
confirm that within one minute, the Acuity LT Central Station
display shows simulated patient data from the monitor.
