To mount the AP bracket
1. Mount the AP bracket in the desired location:
• For wall mounting, use screws to mount the bracket near the ceiling, as shown.
Allow at least seven inches between the top of the bracket and the ceiling, to
allow space for the whip antenna to be oriented vertically on the AP.
• For ceiling mounting, use screws if there is an appropriate ceiling surface for
mounting the bracket.
For suspended ceilings, take the following steps:
Push ceiling tiles back to provide working space.
Place the mounting plate diagonally so that the open ends of the clips are aligned
on the rail as shown.
Gently rotate the bracket clockwise so the clips slide over the rail.
Verify that both clips are securely in place.
• For mounting above suspended ceiling tiles, push back the tiles, locate a suitable
place, and mount the bracket.
