Install Hoses
Existing Hose Identification
Existing hoses may or may not be reused, and may need
to be marked when disconnected. Where not otherwise
uniquely identified by part number and connector style,
this manual uses a common set of letter assignments
from the table at right.
Some hoses are separately identified as to hitch end or
fan end. The two letters may refer to the same hose in
some cases.
Part numbers for existing hoses are not provided in all
cases, to reduce clutter, as part numbers hose counts
and fittings have changed over time.
Hydraulic Hitch Extension
The additional length of the optional hydraulic tongue
requires extension of the pump inlet hose, available as a
separately-ordered hose:
YP12, YP16, YP2425, YP2425F, YP30, YP40:
841-996C HH1 1/4R4 48 1.63MJIC 1.63FJIC
YP2425A:
841-997C HH1.5R4 48 1 88 JIC 1.88F JIC
No extensions are required for YP4425A.
94. Connect this hose to either the reservoir or the
pump at any time during hose installation.
General Hose Installation
Hose routing and connections vary by kit. There are
separate layout pages for each kit.
If a hose has different connectors on each end, verify
end connections before routing, particularly for long
hoses.
The new hoses may be installed in any order. Secure
them with any available clamps along their routes.
When hose installation is complete, continue at “Close-
Out” on page 84.
