8in: Orient Cooler Elbows
Refer to Figure 41
58. Set the fan cooler
horizontally on a work
surface (mounting holes at top and bottom). This is
the orientation of the cooler after final installation.
Loosen the jam nuts of the elbow fittings . Rotate
the inlet JIC ends to point at the angles shown.
When installed in the fan cage, these orientations
point roughly at top center and bottom center of the
cage.
Tighten the jam nuts (see page 86 for fitting torque).

59. Select one new cooler inlet hose
from the table
below (hose is kit dependent).
60. Mark the free end of this hose “INLET”. This step is
particularly important for kits using identical inlet
and outlet hoses and/or for short hoses which may
not be marked with a part number at both ends.
61. Select one new cooler outlet hose from the
table below (hose is kit dependent).
62. Mark the free end of this hose “OUTLET”.
Note: The external ends of these hoses are not
connected at this time.
