.
10. Move the auger into working position slowly. Do not unhitch and attempt to
move auger by hand.
11. Once auger is in position, chock wheels on both sides and apply the park
brake on the tractor (or chock its wheels as well) to prevent movement during
operation.
12. See “Operation” on page 113 for correct operating procedures.
WARNING
Do not raise the auger unless the axles are in
the extended position.
Do not transport the auger unless the axles
are in the retracted position.
NOTICE
The hydraulic cylinders are shipped without oil and must be
charged with oil before auger is put into operation. See the
appendix for charging instructions.
WARNING
Fluid leaks in the hydraulic cylinder or hose
will allow auger to lower inadvertently.
Repair all leaks and breaks immediately.
CAUTION
If hose valve remains open, a loss of hydraulic
pressure within in the tractor system will allow
the auger to lower inadvertently, damaging
the equipment and causing personal injury.
WARNING
Do not disconnect coupler under pressure.
Relieve pressure and then disconnect.
