4 Operation
This section describes the most important points for operation of the 873
Biodiesel Rancimat.
You can find more detailed information in the Online help of the software,
which you can use to rapidly and easily call up the required information
everywhere, via [F1].
4.1 Fundamentals of operation
4.1.1 Starting and exiting the program
Proceed as follows to start and exit the program:
Note
If you are starting the program for the first time, you first have to set an
Administrator password (see Chapter 3.4.3, page 21).
1 Start program
￭ In the Windows Start menu under Programs ▶ Metrohm ▶ Bio-
diesel Rancimat, click on the menu item Biodiesel Rancimat.
The following dialog window appears:
2 Log in
￭ Select the required User.
￭ Enter the Password and confirm with [OK].
3 Close program
￭ Click on the menu item File ▶ Exit or the symbol in the upper
right corner of the dialog window.
