Poor video quality
•
Re-adjust the C/Port following the Re-adjusting the C/Port instructions on page 81.
•
Check for cabling problems.
•
Replace monitor and re-adjust C/Port.
•
Use monitor auto adjust utility for flat panel LCD monitors.
•
Set refresh frequency to 60Hz for LCD monitor or try varying the refresh rate to
find the best picture quality.
Loss of peripheral devices (USB)
•
Unplug and re-plug-in the devices.
•
Pull Blade out and re-insert.
No video or link lights at desktops and no power to Blades
•
R4300: Have a qualified service technician check the fuse.
•
BSBP or DCBP: Check the Cage AC fuse (see Figure 58).
Cage power does not come on
•
R4300: Have a qualified service technician check the fuse.
•
BSBP or DCBP: Cage AC fuse may have tripped. Have a qualified service
technician check the fuse. See Figure 58.
CMS software does not correctly recognize Blades
•
Perform a hard reset on the Cage by powering it down, then powering it back up.
(Warn users currently logged into the Blades.)
MVX
No video is present
•
Turn the manual adjust knob on the back of the C/Port. The video signal can be
cut off when the manual adjustment knob is turned fully clockwise or
counter-clockwise.
•
Adjust the color tuning knobs on the bottom of the C/Port. The video signal can be
cut off or rendered unintelligible if the tuning knobs are between stop positions.
•
Make sure the video adapter on the Blade is a Quadro4. The GeForce2-based
video adapters provide single monitor output only.
•
Check the C/Port version located on the underside of the unit. The Multi-Video
Solution only works with C/Port versions D1 or higher.
CAUTION: DOUBLE POLE/NEUTRAL FUSING
The DIM employs fuses in both the neutral and hot lines.
