Using I/O Messaging

This chapter provides information that explains how to use I/O
Messaging to control a PowerFlex 40 drive.

I/O messaging is used to transfer the data which controls the PowerFlex
drive and sets its reference.

The Profibus adapter provides options for configuring and using I/O,
including the size of I/O, which can be configured by selecting the
number of attached drives (Single or Multi-Drive mode).
