receiver or sender is connected to the line via
an extension exchange equipment.
Vertical scan-
ning
The vertical direction when the original is
scanned.
Z Z folded origi-
nal
The function to determine the document siz-
es before reading and sending the original.
Some facsimiles cannot detect the document
size if it has been folded. This function is
available only when reading the original with
the ADF.
