7.10 Password Transmission
Password TX
ID transmission requires that transmission be performed with a password at-
tached. In case the receiving facsimile with FK-502 is set to Closed Network
RX, it is necessary for the sender to send the same password as the Closed
Network RX password.

The use of this function is available only when the machine on the other
end is provided with the Closed Network RX (Password Transmission)
function.

Press [Fax] on the control panel to view the FAX screen, if it is not al-
ready displayed.

Press [Comm. Setting].

Press [Password TX].

Enter the password (Max. 20 digits) with keypad.
– Numerals of 0-9, and symbols # and * can be used for the pass-
word.
