4-12 Event Details
This section provides an explanation of the ‘Event Details’ drilldown screen. This drilldown option is
available on menus of several EA screens and is used to show details of the individual events such
as date and time of generation, name of the process generating the events, and descriptive text.
Each event also includes a link showing token dump and cause/effect/recovery information from
EVENTTX if available.
4-12-1 Overview
The ‘Event Details’ screen is linked to from a number of other EA screens explained in previous
sections. This is basically a stripped down version of the Web ViewPoint EMS Viewer window
showing the event details.

Figure 58 Event Details
Figure 58 shows how clicking on the count on the grid brings up a window showing precisely the
events of interest (In this case, Event #171 on TANDEM.257). Clicking on the Sr# hyperlink on each
record brings up the token dump and cause/effect/recovery information from EVENTTX if available.
