1-1-3 User Interface
EA is a plug-in to WVP and as such its look and feel is consistent with other recent plug-ins such as
Storage Analyzer.
1-1-3-1 Overview
To access the EA plug-in, go to the ‘Operations’ menu item in WVP and select ‘Event Analyzer’ from
the drop down list. The main screen is a yearly grid showing the event numbers for the most recent
year. The image below shows this screen:

Clicking on a day or a month cell on this grid brings up menus to further drilldown on the data and
look at detailed events in an event viewer. The toolbars at the top of the EA screen are explained
below.
