EA allows setting thresholds on the number of events generated by owner-subsystems per hour and
per day. This is done through the Alert Definition screen. New alerts can be added by clicking the
‘Add New…’ button. Ones already added can be edited by clicking on the

(pencil) icon. An alert in

the form of an EMS event is thrown during the daily scan if the threshold is breached. The add/edit
screen is shown below:
