4-5 Month Drilldown – Hour of Days
This section provides an explanation of the ‘Hour of Days’ view. The ’Hour of Days’ view is an option
on the month drilldown. It lists the event counts for each day of the chosen month, but just for a
chosen hour of the day.
4-5-1 Overview
The ‘Hour of Days’ view is accessed from the main screen (yearly grid) by clicking on any of the
month cells. It appears as the second menu item in the drilldown menu that shows up.

This view shows the events by each day of the month, for a selected hour. The month selection
dropdown on the top allows you to switch to another month. Next to this is another dropdown list for
selecting the hour of the day that you want to view the analysis for. The toolbar on the left is the
standard owner-subsystem-event # filter explained in
section 1-1-4-2 (Toolbars) of this user manual.
This filter is used to display events for a particular owner-subsystem, a particular owner-subsystem-
event # or an application.
The chart type is a stacked bar chart with one bar for each day of the month, and shows the activity
for each day, by event type/severity. Accompanying the chart is a chart legend, which shows for each
chart series, the name of the series as well as the color it is identified by in the chart. This legend
appears towards the right side of the chart. As can be seen from the chart legend, there are six types
of events: normal non-action, critical non-action, normal action-reqd, and so on. Each type is
