2-3 Configuration Options
This section goes over the configuration options for EA.
2-3-1 Overview
The configuration for EA is spread over Web ViewPoint configuration files (STRTWVP &
WVPCONF) as well as ENSCRIBE files that are modified via the EA Admin interface.
2-3-2 Configuration Options in Web ViewPoint configuration
files
This section lists the configuration params/assigns that exist in the Web ViewPoint configuration
files WVPCONF and STRTWVP.

process starts collecting event
information as soon as the process is
started
WVP-LOC STRTWVP WVP $Vol.Subvol Location of WVP. It is used to locate
the Web ViewPoint acknowledgement
database (ADB).
EACOLL-BACKUP-CPU STRTWVP 0 - Max. # of CPUs
(Default is 1) EACOLL is run as a process pair. i.e.
the primary and backup processes
run on separate CPUs. This
parameter defines the CPU for
running the EACOLL backup

