Web ViewPoint ACK Priority over action-taken event?:
This flag decides whether an action-required event acknowledged via Web ViewPoint takes
priority if the same event also matches up with an action-taken event. Location is the
ENSCRIBE file EAPARAM (modifiable through EA Admin Configuration Screen).
Default value YES
Note: When acknowledge from the Web ViewPoint Lite port, it is required to run Web
ViewPoint Lite with the LITEAUTH param (in LITECONF file) to be set to YES.
Action event lookback days:
This is the number of days the collector looks back to match an action-taken event with an
action-required one. Location: ENSCRIBE file EAPARAM (modifiable through EA Admin
Configuration Screen).
Default value 1
Minimum value 1
Maximum value 99
Database Retentions:
This is the maximum number of days or months the databases (ENSCRIBE files) will hold
data for, before proceeding to delete it. i.e. Data older than x days/months will be deleted.
Location is the ENSCRIBE file EADRET (modifiable through EA Admin Retentions Screen).
Default values - 731 for Hourly DBs, Daily DBs & Action Event Logs; 24 for Monthly DB

Owner-Subsystem Exclusions:
This is the list of owner-subsystems that are excluded from the analysis. Location is the
ENSCRIBE file EAEXCL (modifiable through EA Admin Exclusions Screen). Owner and
subsystem names are up to 8 characters long and contain alphabets, numbers or the hyphen
(-) sign only.
Default: None
2-2-4-3 For EAVIEW Object
The EAVIEW object is the main user interface module of EA. The configuration related to this
object is specified in the ENSCRIBE file EAAPPS.
Applications:
These are the groupings of owner-subsystems done in order to analyze events per
application. Location is the ENSCRIBE file EAAPPS (modifiable through EA Admin
Applications Screen). Application name can be 16 characters long and contain alphabets and
numbers only.
