To remove collector(s) from the list on the right, select one or more collectors (for selecting
multiple collectors, hold down the CTRL key while selecting the list box items) and click on
‘Remove’.

An Application is a collection of one or more Owner-Subsystem pairs that you desire to monitor as a
group. For example, you can include WVP and its plug-ins into one application and monitor EMS
activity for that application. This screen allows the definition of applications.

To create a new application, type in the desired name of the application (maximum 16 characters)
into the text box on the left and click ‘Add’. This will add an entry to the list of applications on the left
hand side. Next, click on the new entry that shows as a hyperlink. Doing so will bring up its
membership information in the frame to the right. The definition for the application can be changed
in this frame.

Within the frame, the top left part includes text fields to enter the owner and subsystem. Below the
text fields are drop downs for selecting the owner and subsystem. The owner and subsystem drop
downs are built and maintained at the time of the daily collection. This makes sure the most recent
list of all owners and subsystems is available without having to look at the EMS viewer for the right
names. To add an owner-subsystem to the application, either a.) type in the name of the owner and
subsystem in the text fields to the left, and click ‘Add’; or b) choose the owner and subsystem from
the drop downs (this will populate the text fields with the selected owner and subsystem names) and
then click ‘Add’. If the owner-subsystem combination being added is already present, a warning to
that effect is shown. To remove owner-subsystem(s) from an application definition, select one or
