2-2 Installation Details
There are 3 different ways to install EA namely:
 EAInstall.exe: The PC–based wizard installer for EA. (Recommended process)
 Manual Installation: Use this option if the wizard installation fails. For e.g. if Java Run Time
cannot be installed on the PC.
 IPSetup.exe : The IPSetup(DSM/SCM) installer for EA.
2-2-1 Install Basics
2-2-1-1 Overview
EA only consists of one host component. You need to install this host component in order to view
the EA option within the WVP menu.
2-2-1-2 Host Component - NonStop
EA’s host component can be installed in three ways as stated in section 2-2 .
