Components of the Group Configuration screen
Table 26 lists the components that appear in the Group Configuration screen. Use these components to
configure your groups.

Component Description
ACPs A list of available Array Control Processor Pairs.
When creating your group, select all ACPs or
individual ACPs in this drop-down menu.
Array ID The serial number of the array.
Array Type The type of array, such as XP256.
Arrays A list of available arrays.
Clear Filters Click to return all menu items to their default settings.
CLPR The CLPR group number.
Create Group Select the components for your group, and click this
button.
Delete Group Highlight the group in the Groups list box, and click
this button to delete the group.
Device File The name of the device file.
NOTE:
If an array is connected to a host agent that is
running on HPUX-11.31 operating system, the
DSF (device special file) is displayed in a new
format. A legacy DSF is displayed in parenthesis
next to the new format.
Ext-Lun Indicates that the LDEV is an Ext-Lun. The following
options are available:
- (hyphen) = Normal LUN
E = Ext-Lun
P = Ext-Lun provider (this LDEV is used as an Ext-Lun
for another array)
Group Name Enter a name for your group in this field.
