9. MAINTENANCE
9.3 Trouble Shooting
Although magnetic flowmeters rarely require maintenance, failures occur when the
instrument is not operating correctly. Since a failure is located by troubleshooting the
receiving instrument information. This information will be described below.
9.3.1 No Indication
Check the code indication
(see Page 7-5) and examine
depending on the contents.
Contact your
agency or
the nearest
sales office.
Check that the meter tube is
filled with the liquid.
Change piping or
mouting so that the
meter tube is full of
liquid.
Inspect inside of tube by
removing.
Execute either of the following.
a, Install meter so arrow agree
with flow direction.
b, Change setting in 14 or B14
"FLOW DIR"
Examine the converter display or LED flashing wheather an error is displayed

Replace the

Is the fuse blown?

reappear by replacing
the fuse?
Does the arrow
on meter tube agree with the

Is the meter tube

Is foreign matter
sticking to the wall?
Remove foreign matter. Contact your agency or the
nearest sales office.
