8. ACTUAL OPERATION
8.2 Self-diagnostics Functions
• The self-diagnostic function displays instrument internal errors, input/output signal
abnormalities, setting errors, and other problems.
• When an alarm occurs, an alarm number announcing that an error has occurred is
superimposed on the normal data display.
However, alarms are only displayed during normal flow rate data display mode and
when parameter numbers are changed in the setting mode. (Alarms are not displayed
when data items are being changed.)
• When the BT200 is used, alarms are displayed in the A to N60 SELF CHECK
parameter. If an error is detected and ERROR appears in the display, investigate the
nature of the error.
8.2.1 Display and Output Status during Alarm occurrence
• If an error occurs, the
panel display LED
flashes and an alarm
number is superimposed
on the normal display.
During this time the
current output is fixed to
2.4mA max., 4mA,
HOLD or 21.6mA max.,
as selected in 4-20 ALM
OUT (output current
during alarm).
• An alarm (status contact
output) is output for any
of the errors indicated in
the table at right.
Note : As selected in 4-20 ALM OUT (output current during alarm)
