5.7.3 Input Signals (Word 01 ~ Word 16)
Inputs are assigned in the order as shown in the table below and cannot be changed. Bits
designated as “Unused” have no input assigned to them.
Since Modbus Plus sends I/O signals 8 bits at a time, and trying to use the data as a word, all
bits and bytes are transferred backwards.
