Many mobile devices may not support Java
but do have access to a VNC application.
These VNC programs may be used to
access and configure the System 5000
™
. If
a Direct PC Connect option is being used,
the same IP address can be specified using
port 180 to connect. An
example setup of the UltraVNC Viewer on
a PC is shown to the right.
Alternative ports can be used for connecting
by creating additional Listening Ports and
selecting the VNC Server program (not the
VNC Server (HTTP) option). File transfers
are only supported through the UltraVNC
compatible programs. Additional settings,
such as image quality and speed can be
modified through the VNC program itself.
