Select the ‘Dial-up connection’ option
and press the ‘Next ‘button.
Optional: If you have multiple modems
installed on the computer, a prompt will
appear asking which Modem and COM
port should be used. If only one port is
set up as a Modem, this screen
will not appear. Select the modem
(Standard 33600 bps) and press the
‘Next’ button.
Type in the name of the connection (e.g.
System 5000 ™ Connection) and press
the ‘Next’ button.
Type in ‘5000’ as the phone number
and press the ‘Next’ button.
Select the ‘Add a shortcut to this
connection to my desktop’ and press
the ‘Finish’ button.
