RELOCATING/STORING THE SERVER
Follow the procedure below to relocate or store the modular server, hard disk drive, and Module
Enclosure:
WARNING
Observe the following instructions to use the equipment safely. Failure to
follow these instructions may result in death or serious personal injury. See
pages 1-2 to 1-6 for details.

Do not disassemble, repair, or alter the equipment.
■
Do not remove the lithium battery.
■
Disconnect the power plug before working with the equipment.
CAUTION
Observe the following instructions to use the equipment safely. Failure to
follow these instructions may cause a fire, personal injury, or property
damage. See pages 1-2 to 1-6 for details.

Do not install the equipment in any place other than specified.
■
Do not connect/disconnect any interface cable with the power cord of the
server plugged to a power source.
IMPORTANT:
If the equipment needs to be relocated/stored due to a change in the
floor layout to a great extent, contact your service representative.
Be sure to make a backup copy of your valuable data in the hard
disk drive, if any.
Make sure not to apply a shock to hard disk drive if installed on
modular server.
Store the equipment under the storage condition (temperature: –10
to 55°C, humidity: 20 to 80%, without condensation) to allow
internal devices and the equipment to operate correctly in the next
operation.
