Place the battery plug in the slot in the battery box.

Insert battery with the label readable.
5 Replace the back cover.
6.4.1 Installing Battery on KIRK 5020 / 5040 Handsets
1 To install the battery press down the back cover and slide it towards the bottom of the
handset.

Lift off back cover.
3 Insert battery with the label readable.
4 Replace the back cover by pressing the back cover back in the locked position (when
you hear a click the back cover is in position).
