HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS
There are nine (9) hydraulic cylinders: Sway, Tilt,
Compensating, Crowd (2), Lift (2), & Steering (2).
(Outrigger (2) are optional).
On the Tilt, Crowd and Lift Cylinders, a counter-
balance valve is used to protect against broken hoses
and to control lowering actions.
The Sway Cylinder has a piloted check valve to
provide a positive lock of oil in the cylinder. Pressure
applied to the Circuit from the valve in either
direction, unseats the check plunger and allows the
desired two-way flow of oil.
