Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt, such as
paper dust, that has collected in the locations
shown in the illustration.
Use a vacuum cleaner that has a nozzle type
head with no brush.

Replace the plate.
Press down until you hear it click into place.

Reload the roll paper.

Cleaning and Replacing
the Rollers in the Duplex
Feeder (Option)
The feed rollers and transfer rollers in the duplex
feeder need the following maintenance depending on
the state of the printer.
O Feed rollers: Clean or replace
O Transfer rollers: Clean
If they are not appropriately cleaned and replaced,
paper feed trouble may occur. Follow the instructions
below to do this.
Install the feed rollers when assembling the duplex
feeder
The feed rollers are not installed when the duplex
feeder is assembled. See the following to install the feed
rollers before using the machine.

Notes on Handling Rollers
Do not touch the roller surfaces of the paper feed
rollers or transfer rollers.
Oil from your skin could stick to them and make
printed materials dirty.
