Remove the new ink supply unit from the box.
7 Confirm the color of the label, and then put the
ink supply unit tray back into the printer.

Close the ink supply unit cover.
9 Confirm that the status light is off.
Replacing Maintenance
Box
The maintenance box is to absorb ink consumed when
Print Head Cleaning is executed.
If a replace the maintenance box message appears,
follow the steps below to replace it.
1 Check that the power light is lit.
If the power light is flashing, the printer is
operating. Wait until all operations have
stopped.
2 Open the ink supply unit cover on the right side.

Important:
Do not touch the chip on the ink supply unit.
You may not be able to print properly.

Important:
After removing the maintenance box, replace it
immediately, do not leave the ink supply unit
cover open.
